STREET PHOTOGRAPHY IMMORTALITY

All right. Street photography immortality.

Ain’t that what we’re all kind of going for? We want to be immortal.

So how do you get to immortality in the street photography game?

Little camera.

This is how you do it:

One photo every seven seconds for five years straight.

That’s how you do it.

Come on. Who can beat that work rate? That’s a hell of a work rate, right?

I’m sure there are people who have done it.

My boy Eric Kim, have you done it?

Dante. Dante, have you done it?

One photo every seven seconds.

Do that for five years straight and tell me you’re not immortal in the street photography game.

Somebody is writing a Wikipedia page about you.

Hey, I still got a little spring in my step for 44. Let’s go.

All right.

One photo every seven seconds.

500 photos per hour. 1,000 photos every two hours. I think that’s the rate.

You keep that up and you’re going to have so many photos you’re just sitting on a lump of photographs.

You can do all sorts of cool things with them.

Make some magazines.

Magazine mindset, right?

Find you a little show. Get you a gallery. Find you a little cafe.

Go to your local coffee shop. Look for the girl with the nose ring, the blue hair and the tattoos and be like:

“Hey, I have some interesting work I’d like to hang on your wall.”

Then you show her your archive and there’s like 100,000 photos in there.

And she’s like:

“Nah, man. Just pick out like five.”

And that’s your new project.

Picking out your favorite five.

Good luck.

But that’s the struggles that come with immortality, right?

One photo every seven seconds.

500 photos an hour.

Five years straight.

Immortality.

Let’s go.
