Diving Into Film Again

Developed my first roll in a few years. Ilford HP5+ pushed to 800 using Ilfotec HC. Ended up with five keepers. Messed up the emulsion on about half the roll. Not sure what I did. Hopefully I’ll do better in the future but I’m not mad about it. Five keepers is good enough for me. I prefer the film aesthetic to my Q2M photos when comparing them side by side. Both have similar tones but the film just has that vibe all the nerds talk about.

  1. HP5 is my preferred film for everything. i push it rarely when i need my film to be more versatile during low light conditions. But for Holga plastic camera I prefer Fomapan due to its perfect combination to the Rodinal stand developing process.
