Film Really Is The Best Look

It just looks the best. Porta 400 looks amazing in any light. HP5 is gritty and edgy. It’s just too expensive and the workflow takes too much time for me. If I was a landscape or portrait photographer, I’d most definitely shoot film. But I shoot everyday. Usually at least 50 photos. I couldn’t afford it or spend the time it takes to process the photos. It’s May 5th and I have 115 keepers in my May folder. That would be roughly $60 at the least. I’d be on pace to spend $400 this month on film.

      1. i’m talking more develop and processing…then you have to scan and organize the negatives. I still have about 30 rolls of negatives I need to organize from last year. when I shot film, I’d go through a roll in about 3 days on normal days.

      2. i see. i have a few hundreds 🤣🤣🤣 seems like i packed until the END 😉 but the real joy is the process of photography. sometimes (or mostly when on film) without knowing if i got something at the end.
