Bangers

If you refer to your photos as bangers, you’ve been influenced to the point of no return.

Hey Dante, Keep It Up

If you’re reading this Mr. Sisofo, keep it going man. With a world of well manicured content, loving your candid takes. Wish more people were doing things like you in the photo world. Always entertaining to watch.

Gear Reviews

I’m guilty of gear lust myself but I’m pretty sure it’s ruined photography for a lot of people. Constantly chasing the dream, thinking it will make you better. Most of the influential photography channels are centered around gear. Average at best photographers who create images that play well on the algorithm. Spoiled Sports Fans

Being from Cincinnati, sports mediocrity has been the norm for most of my life until recently. I don’t think the Bengals won a playoff game in over 20 years until Joe Burrow came along. It’s fun to see something you relate to like the milk cartonsContinue reading “Kindergarten Cop”

The Center

I don’t want the viewer to see the subjects reaction to me. I’m not at the center. Bruising the scene as a popular phrase in street photography. Trying to get candid scenes untouched.

Eye Contact

Striving for less eye contact. I’m just a fly on the wall.

Practicing Restraint

I’ve been taking fewer photos lately. Still getting the same amount of keepers though. More selective. I think it comes from realizing what I like to photograph and what not. Finally.

Sloppy Or Nah

Sloppy like Joel Meyorwitz or compositional perfection like Alex Webb?

Late Start

I didn’t start taking street photography seriously until I was 37. Oh well, better late then never.
