Buying authentic Ricoh batteries fixed all my issues with the GR. No more lens getting stuck or camera freezing. Took me a while to figure out as I bought a used authentic battery and I was still having problems. I examined it and found a tiny dent in the battery. JPEGs Are Better
Love hate with them but I think it comes out net positive. No more fiddling in post with lens corrections and processing. Shoot it and your done. Much more relaxed workflow. I’m not a pro, who cares if I blunder it.
Ricoh GRIII Crop Modes

Now I onlyContinue reading “Ricoh GRiii Revived”
Getting Close
An emotional drain with bigger cameras. Too easy with the GR.
Conundrum
I always think the Ricoh is good enough, but then I shoot the Leica. Been using a 50 year old 35mm Summicron on it and it’s fantastic.
Just Snap
Nothing is faster.
