Perfection Is The Enemy
I’ve held off on creating things for years because I wanted the perfect outcome. I was too influenced for example by photographers who only put their best photos in a book or zine. I think it’s bad advice. Experiment and create what you want and learn from the experience.

I Don’t Care About The Moment
Nice if it happens but not necessary for a photo I like. It’s good for the long term as it’s easy to get discouraged when the moments aren’t happening in front of you.
Are Sneaky Photos Unethical?
I’m sure a lot of people think so including myself at times. The photos are worth it to me and a risk worth taking. A glimpse of life in my own vision. I don’t trust do-gooders anyways. So if you claim your street photography is ethical I call BS.

Shoot More
I’ve improved a lot over the last six months just by shooting as much as possible when I go out. A good rule is at least 100 photos per hour. Who cares if none are keepers. They cost nothing.
Too Much Influence
The digital age has brought us amazing access to all sorts of things, but also too much influence in your own field. Probably disrupting your progress in said field. Maybe it’s better to detach from those influences to grow stronger.
