Rationale For Shooting Film
I don’t think it makes much sense if you’re shooting street photography. It’s such a numbers game. Also time is precious and film is too time intensive. I find walking or biking around to be more therapeutic than developing and scanning film.

It looks better and unpredictable. It’s why some humans free climb. You don’t know the outcome. Film is a similar dynamic. You just don’t know, so when it turns out the gratification is tenfold.
New Street Photo Kit
Leica M7, 50mm with orange filter and HP5 around my neck. A Ricoh GRiii shooting high contrast jpegs in my pocket. I only use the M7 if I feel something and use the GR for experimentation. No expectations for the GR photos, slightly higher expectations for the film photos. Liking the setup so far.

Diving Into Film Again
Developed my first roll in a few years. Ilford HP5+ pushed to 800 using Ilfotec HC. Ended up with five keepers. Messed up the emulsion on about half the roll. Not sure what I did.
