Superiority Complex
So many tout their own accomplishments, lifestyles while subtly poking people who live differently.
Ricoh GR Batteries
Buying authentic Ricoh batteries fixed all my issues with the GR. No more lens getting stuck or camera freezing. Took me a while to figure out as I bought a used authentic battery and I was still having problems. I examined it and found a tiny dent in the battery. Since I’ve bought two more new authentic ones and not one issue. Bonus I’m getting over 300 photos per charge.
Shoot More
I’ve improved a lot over the last six months just by shooting as much as possible when I go out. A good rule is at least 100 photos per hour. Who cares if none are keepers. They cost nothing.
Ryze Mushroom Coffee
Delicious black. No need to add anything.
Just An Hour Away
So close to everything. Ocean, mountings, deserts, cities, neighborhoods and cultures. Endless possibilities. Or I could go to San Diego and walk across the border into Tijuana in two hours. I don’t recommend driving. Last time it took us three hours to get back in.
Jesus Revolution
Cool movie. I’ll be going to Pirates Cove this weekend. Maybe I can see some people getting dunked.
Zoom In To Max
In Apple Photos on the iPad and endlessly scroll your photos. Looks much better than on any social media app and you can get a better feeling for your work.
Gas Was 99 Cents Per Gallon
When I got my drivers license. I used to buy smokes for $2 a pack.
My Worst Job
I’ve had roughly 30 different jobs since I started working at 14. But the worst was a job I took in high school as a telemarketer. It was excruciating calling people for hours straight only to get rejected. I worked mostly on weekends. Don’t randomly call a house on Sunday in gods land. But it was good pay for a high schooler. I think I was making $7 an hour in 1998.
