It’s my interpretation.
Processing to the Extreme
Make it your own reality.
ISO 12800
The Ricoh GRiii looks pretty good at an ISO this high. I mean what else do you need. I even added grain.
Perpetual Grind
In it for the long haul. Maybe in 20 years I’ll have something.
Pimping Your Photos
Nobody cares. You’re it. The people who care also want your money. Go figure.
Cameras Are A Waste
They are largely a waste of money, especially for street photography when you don’t need all the specs. I could probably buy a few $300 Ricoh GRDIVs and shoot them all until they die and be happy with my body of work. Yet I still get sucked into the GAS.
Old Work
Just delete the ones you’re on the fence about. All you got is time, go make an improved version of it.
How to know if you’re improving…
at street photography? You start deleting photos from your archive.
Getting Better
What’s it even mean to get better at street photography? I do know this though, you’re not getting better by shooting once a month. If I go a few days without shooting, I feel a bit lost out there.
