I’ve come to terms. Leica is somewhat about the flex. You can’t find a sexier camera. Not necessarily the monetary value, but the aesthetic of the camera. They just look cool.

Sky Fox
Full time job covering police chases and carjackings from the helicopter. Spike strips and fun commentary from Stu Mandel. Watching stolen cars evade police on flat tires crashing into other cars is why Grand Theft Auto is loosely based on Los Angeles. The decline of society was never more entertaining and frightening.
I watched this guy cruise around in a stolen minivan. Then get spiked and quickly steal another vehicle from a close by gas station. And then carjack another van at a gas station. Wild.
Leica M8 – Gear Porn

I’ve been debating the sale of this camera but after converting some images to black and white, I’m keeping it.
This image below made me rethink my decision. The lighting was perfect here and all I did in post was darken the sky by playing with the red channel and adding a bit of contrast.
