They are so confrontational. Whining about the first amendment and claiming if they aren’t recording small business owners or random homeless people on the street then the government will strip our rights. Of course, it’s just for the YouTube content. What a scam. No different than TikTok pranksters.
Ricoh GRiii Revived
GRs are known for their fragility. Specifically the lens mechanism. It will freeze and the only way to fix it is to remove the battery. I’ve returned three brand new GRs that did this shortly after purchase. Recently I noticed this only happening with my current GR when using third party batteries. Now I only use the Ricoh batteries and haven’t had the problem since. GR is back.
Keep It Simple
Minimal camera gear. Set the camera to easily capture what you want. Point, click. Move on.
I watched a video about a persons (I can’t remember who) minimal street photography kit. It was a medium size bag filled with gear. Of course there were affiliate links for every item in the description.
My minimal kit is the camera and an extra battery. I don’t think I’ve ever used more than two fully charged batteries on a photo walk.
1-5% Keeper Rate
That’s around where I’m at. 5% decent to good. I’ll probably delete most later. 1% or under are good. I’ve never made a great photo. What’s is that even?
Some Photos Are Bad
That’s why I delete them.
