Joel Meyerowitz coined this phrase. I thought it was dumb. I craved eye contact and dynamic scenes using flash. Now I prefer going undetected. If someone knows I’m there, I won’t take the photo.

See where there are lapses. The more photos you take, the less emotional attachments you’ll have to them so you should be able to assess them with limited bias.
