Probably my favorite national park. Dunes, salt basins, crazy rock formations, mountains with snow, hot springs and even two small towns inside where you can buy goods or unwind at a restaurant.

National Parks
How lucky are we to have access to these beautiful parks. The US has such a diverse landscape and the National Parks make it easy to enjoy. Except maybe Yosemite. That place is nearly impossible to get into.
You Need A Car In California
You don’t really need one. You can live anywhere in LA and be fine using the metro or biking. But to get your monies worth from high cost of living, you NEED a car to enjoy the beautiful state of California. Otherwise you’re paying so much and not reaping the benefit of living here.

Plumbing
I miss being a plumber. Very rewarding. You’re a hero when you fix the air conditioning.
Trade over Degree
Learning a skill and using it to build or maintain this country is more useful than going into debt to earn a liberal arts degree you can’t use after college.
Focus on Passions
Ya it’s selfish but I don’t care. You can continue virtue signaling but we all know you’re an armchair revolutionary.
