Photography Bags

I was doing some spring cleaning and found five bags I haven’t touched in over a year. I spent at least 1k on these bags. What’s the point of a bag? I want a small camera that fits in my pocket. Problem solved. The only time I use a bag is when I go on a trip to a National Park and want to bring a zoom lens. And for that I use a cheap Domke bag I bought from Amazon Warehouse for $25.
