The Leica M Is Undefeated

It’s 49-0 with 49 KOs. The Floyd Mayweather of cameras. Why? Because it’s tiny, full frame, quiet and durable. The IQ is great and all you need. It’s the best for street. Manual focusing with a tab can’t be matched. Leica is a camera for people who like to use their hands. There’s no shutter lag, what you see is what you get. My M10P is so quiet, almost as quiet as my old Q2M and GR. The real world view in the rangefinder window is matched by no one. If Ricoh could get it’s shit together and build a camera that doesn’t break all the time, it would be in competition. I’ve returned three GRs because the lens motor gets stuck. Any camera with a moving part like that is doomed. I’ve had two others completely die on me. But if you really care about IQ, the GR files are not close to the Leica ones. Even my M8 which is a crop sensor blows any GR file out of the water. The 28mm Elmarit-M lens I use is so sharp with so much micro contrast, the photos just pop. They look great. Maybe an x100 is better than the GR, but my M is barely bigger so why bother. Size, IQ and durability. Who can compare? Nobody, that’s why people pay are on a waiting list to pay 10k.
